Rules

  • One suite at a time. Only one suite can be scheduled. To schedule another one, turn off the schedule of the suite currently scheduled first.
  • License limit. A suite can be scheduled only if it contains no more tests than your license allows.
  • No new tests while scheduled. While a suite is scheduled, creating tests is disabled and the play and record buttons of the Tests toolbar are hidden, so that manual runs do not interfere with scheduled ones. Turn off the schedule to edit the project again.
  • Pulse must be running. Scheduled runs are started by Pulse itself: they run as long as Pulse is open, including minimized, and stop when you close it.

Scheduled runs play in the background, without the browser panel. Each run is added to the tests’ performance history and triggers the notifications set on its tests.

Note:

To run a journey around the clock, from several locations or more often than every 5 minutes, deploy it to Mugnsoft as an EUM monitor.
