Performance history
In this section you will learn how to follow the performance of a test over time and investigate a failed run.
Open the history of a test
Hover over a test in the Tests tab and click Performance History. Every run is recorded — manual, scheduled and each retry attempt — with its duration, result and threshold status.
Test History (Ctrl+H) in the application menu opens the history of all tests.
What the history shows
- Performance Over Time (sec) — the duration of each run, coloured by status: OK, Minor, Major, Critical, Timeout or Error.
- Status Distribution — the share of runs in each status over the period.
- Duration Percentiles — p75, p90, p95 and p99 of the run durations: p95 is the duration 95 % of runs stay under.
Choose the period at the top: Last Hour, Last 3 Hours, Last 8 Hours, Last Day, Last 3 Days, Last Week or Custom. Drag across the chart to zoom into a range: the distribution and percentiles follow the zoom, and Zoomed — reset returns to the whole period. Refresh reloads the latest runs.
Investigate a failed run
Hover over a run in the chart: for a run that failed or errored, the tooltip shows the screenshot of the page taken at the moment of the failure. Replay the test with Play Next Step to reproduce it.
